New Holland Lop babies

These aren't the best pics but this is my does first living litter, (2nd litter).
I am shocked but she had 6. Both parents are VC I do have a BEW, and a couple VM's and I think a couple of magpies but not 100% sure.
The pics are of them at about 10 hours old.
of course I will update pics as they grow..

is it true that rabbits eat their kids

they can but that isn't what happened the first time. she had a single kit the first time and it was stuck therefore, stillborn. it was very very large

High amounts of stress, hunger, and something being wrong with the Kits
People talk about it way too much like it happens daily when no it's not that common

I had one doe eat some kits, but I think she was eating dead kits. There was still one dead one as well as some parts from the others.

She had a number of healthy babies that made it all the way though!

The mommas usually know what they are doing.
